Happy New Year

Hoping to learn a new iPad app this year, Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. Also, going to make it a point to get back into my Chuck-Hut and start making art again.

Huffhines Art Trails Festival

Yesterday was the opening to the Huffhines Art Trail Festival in Richardson, TX. Which, I am proud to say that I am a part of. Here is a link to the festivals site.

It was a little of a wash out for opening day. After a month of basically no rain in North Texas, the skies decided to open up and pour down on us, about noonish. And it continued to rain much of the afternoon. With the rain in full swing it drove away most people from the festival, which allowed me more time to talk to other artist at the festival. You can see more photos of my both that I took using phone camera, before the rain started at flickr

Why work on one painting at a time?

Either I could not focus on just one painting or I just wasn't in the mood to finish "a" painting. So, this weekend I started 5 painting. This way I can have option for what I want to work on. Everyone should be lucky enough to have options.

All Moved In

It's taken the better part of my summer, but I've finished with the painting of the outside of my shed/studio. In addition I also have finished setting up the inside. You can check out the inside of my studio at my flicker account, click here.
